Rules & FAQ
Eligibility
Participants must be 19 years of age or older and must be residents of Prince Edward Island. All users must create an account, complete profile verification, verify a valid mobile phone number, and accept the Terms and Privacy Policy before purchasing tickets. Accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements are not permitted to participate.
Ticket Price
Each ticket costs $5.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. All ticket purchases are final. A maximum of 10 tickets may be purchased per user for each draw.
Draw Schedule
Draws are held twice per week, on Tuesday and Saturday at 2:00 PM Atlantic Time. Ticket sales close shortly before the scheduled draw time.
Ticket Cutoff and Next Draw Assignment
Tickets may only be purchased while the current draw is open. If a payment is completed after ticket sales have closed, the ticket(s) will be entered into the next available draw. This may occur if payment processing finishes after the cutoff time.
How the Draw Works
All paid tickets for the draw are entered. One ticket is randomly selected by the system. The selected player will receive a text message with a secure link to the board. The selected player has 10 minutes to choose one card.
Selection Time Limit
The selected player has 10 minutes to pick a card. If no selection is made within this time, the system will automatically select a card. The result of the automatic selection is final.
The Board
The board contains 52 cards. Cards remain face down until selected. Once a card is revealed, it remains out of play for future draws. The board continues across draws until the Queen of Hearts is selected.
Queen of Hearts
If the selected card is the Queen of Hearts, the jackpot is won, the board resets, and a new game begins with a new board and a reset pot.
Weekly Payout
If the selected card is not the Queen of Hearts, a weekly payout is awarded. The remaining pot carries forward to the next draw. Payout amounts are calculated based on ticket sales for the draw.
Payment Processing
Tickets are created only after payment is confirmed. Duplicate payments will not create duplicate tickets. If a payment completes after the draw closes, the ticket(s) will be entered into the next available draw.
Payouts
Winners may be required to provide identification and proof of eligibility. Payouts will be issued after verification is complete. The organizer reserves the right to delay payment until verification requirements are satisfied.
Fair Play
All draws are performed using a random selection process. The system prevents duplicate tickets, duplicate draws, late entries, multiple selections, and exceeding ticket limits. All results are recorded electronically.
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, keeping login credentials secure, and ensuring their phone number remains valid. Accounts may be suspended or restricted if rules are violated.
